Choosing a crank is the last bit I have for my cross bike. Any suggestions? I'm leaning toward 110 compact BCD and I dont care if its 2 piece or 3 piece.

If you're racing just stick with a standard crank. Get an Ultegra double if you are running Shimano... then throw a 46T ring on the outside... maybe a 38 on the inner. If you need lower than a 38/39 in combination with a 27T cog, you should be off the bike running. If you are not going ot be racing, then a 46/36 combo is really nice and the above mentioned FSA crank is decent. I also like the Race Fce Cadance crank for the money.

Any cranks 110 or 110/74 pcd with a finish you don't mind scratching.

Sugino XD double or Sugino Alpina/Cospea.
Around $100. That way, you can use a Shimano un52 bb.

2008 FSA Gossamer or Energy Compact w/ Blackspire rings (the cross versions are hard to get in Canada, so I can't speak for them).

If you want to go with one chainring up front, the sugino rd single speed crank is nice. I believe you can put a bash guard on them too to keep your chain from coming off. I'm running one on my cross bike, they're decent. It's no carbon bling bit, but it's pretty simple and decent. I think you could probably get a lighter bottom bracket than the default sugino one.
