WooooHoooooo! I'm within the Navy BF standards!
My weight went up, but I'm leaner overall, so I don't mind that.
You gotta love the exercise from bicycle commuting...

How many miles total do you commute in a day or in a week? Are you trying to regulate your eating, as on a diet, or just making some small modifications in eating? How hard do you ride when you commute?

My commute is only 4.2 miles each way. I don't ride it too hard usually. Once or twice a week, I'll push it and try to keep my pace up really high for most of the commute.
I have adjusted my diet over the last two years, though not too harshly. I have just slowly gotten used to eating better. NO FAST FOOD. I don't drink soda or alcohol. Though I have a huge coffee addiction.
Really, it's just consistent riding. In addition to the commuting, I'll do small rides on the weekends, but mostly it's just consistently racking up miles.
(BTW, I'm originally from Poky - don't see a lot of Idahoans here)

I think as long as one loses "inches", they are on the right track.
I'm originally from CDA. Didn't know anyone with enough "pull" to get hired at the local lumber mill, so I moved:) I actually got hired at the mines, but when I got home from the interview, there was a letter in the mailbox telling me I'd been accepted as an apprentice in the shipyard in Bremerton, WA. Government job or the mines? I headed West!

Ah....Military BF Standards!
Do you ever get the feeling that they one one size fits all? Or one shape fits all? In the USAF as a First Sergeant I used to have to manage that program for the Squadron and boy it was a pain in the arse.
I'm glad you are with in their range now. It's a PITA to be just on the outside of those standards.
Well Done!
Chris
