Nick blew out his knee falling from a 13' fufanu at Icer Air in San Francisco last Saturday; I hadn't had a chance to talk to him since Saturday, since he'd just moved and he doesn't have a new phone set up, but he just informed me that his knee is "done." He's blown out his ACL, PCL, and MCL, and was denied earlier today by Medi-Cal. He can't walk at the moment, even with an immobilizer, and therefore can't do any work to pay the bills (and he has no insurance to help him, either).
I've set up a PayPal account for donations to help Nick out. The email address to use is: nickv_donate@sjbmx.com.
I hate to ask people to donate cash, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
