So my mom gets this new phone from a 2-3 year old nokia bar phone to a 200 dollar samsung slimslide sgh 629 model phone for free, since we opened up another t-mobile line. She said I could have it so we traded phones by sim cards (my old phone was a motorola, no-camera, basic flip)
So now I'm left with this behemoth of a cell phone with a conglomerate of different features. My first problem is I have no idea how to get to silent mode. When I press the side buttons down, the sound bar gets stuck on ring volume 1, but I want silent. Also, is there a way I can add any of my mp3 songs or have it (the phone) select the time of the song I want it to play as my ringtone? Or am I forced to buy some random song part off their "hifi ringers" section for a preposterous amount for a 10 second recording of the worst part of the song?
