View Full Version : Why Move an article about a car free mom?
Why was is article about family cycling inappropriate content for living car free? It spends several paragraphs talking about a car free mom. I don't get it.

I was wondering the same thing...possibly it should have been cross posted?
Anyway here is a LINK (http://bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=360419) to the thread :p

I thought it was odd that someone would move donnamb's post. If she doesn't know where to post a thread about carfree living, who would? Unless she moved it herself, but then why put in a re-direct?

it's a mystery
One of the preschools in the neighborhood here has a bike to school day just like in the article. In the mornings and evenings there are always parents shuttling kids by bike. On the bike to school day, because it is a pre-school, the kids ride their little tricycles to school. I shuttled a neighbor kid one year. It was very slow going, the kid was still learning to pedal. I think at lunch they went to the park for a tricycle parade.

Maybe she wanted it to show up in both places, but not have two fully separate threads with separate comments?

That's a possibility...oh well, I'm sure there's a good explanation, even if we don't know what it is :p .

I moved it myself. I thought it should be in Recreational & Family, LCF, and Utility but I didn't want to clutter up the forums with 3 identical threads. The permanent redirect was a bread crumb trail for everyone. Go post there. :)
