In my quest to acquire a HED3 wheel for my fixed gear bike (triathlon use), i'm wondering if it's possible to use a front HED3 wheel and use the HED Cycling track conversion kit to make it a rear wheel...
One, it would be cheaper (if i end up purchasing new), and two, it would open up my options for finding a used wheel.
yeah, you can do that. i'm actually trying to convert a rear cassette wheel to front.. unfortunately that's not so easy.

if you have one of the front wheels that has the freewheel threads on it (there is often a little black sleeve that is put over it), then you'll need the "front/rear" kit. if not, then you'll want just the front conversion kit.

So there's 2 types of front wheels then?
