Well, you must drink it faster than I do... This is actually the same reason why I don't buy Diet Pepsi... goes flat too quickly...

Does it come in non-diet? If so, I'd try it. I liked the cherry vanilla Coke that came out some years ago....

Y'all need to make it to Dublin, Texas (about 1.5 hours southwest of Fort Worth), Home of the Original Dr. Pepper Bottling Factory. They serve up drinks at a soda fountain with the aforementioned Cherry and Vanilla. Very tasty. You might also look for the original Dr. Pepper (sometimes referred to as Dublin Dr. Pepper) sweetened with cane sugar versus the more commonly mass produced HFCS sweetener. I'm not a DP aficinado but those that are say there is a difference in taste.

We get Coke imported from Mexico here and it contains cane sugar as a sweetener. They taste just like the Cokes I used to drink when I was a kid. :) Back before "New Coke" and then "Coke Classic." Back when Coke was just Coke.

Wonder what vanilla Cheerwine would taste like? <pensive Vega look>

Might I suggest Cheerwine with a hit of Captain Morgan's...especially since it should be the weekend now, ya know.

Yuck. A plethora of worthless sugars and wasted calories. I'll stick to water or tea.

What's amazing is that it tastes like REGULAR vanilla cherry Dr. Pepper.

Which means they some how messed up the formula.

Regular tasting like diet? Psh!

I don't mind diet pop, in fact when i drink it that's about all i drink. Diet Dr. Pepper though, i dunno...

There is something in it that just makes the aspartame way too aspartamy

The DP made with cane sugar is so so good but I'm fairly certain you can only get it in Texas... maybe you can order it. Regular is also good, but better as a mixer than as a soda on its own.

Allegedly you can only get it within 40 miles of Dublin but I have seen it in Fort Worth.
