Pardon me for reviving/hijacking this thread. A search on "bond, bonded, bonding" brought it up.

My thought was, would building lugged & bonded frames be a low(er) cost, less technically challenging method (as it would involve little or no brazing/welding and tricky tube mitering) for the hobbyist/novice framebuilder? Just buy lugs, tubing, cut latter to length and glue it up? (Leaving aside, for the sake of this discussion, the intricacies of geometry and fit.)

Though I never aspired to be a framebuilder, lurking here now and then out of mere idle curiosity has begun giving me "ideas". :)

It could just be cabin fever talking...

Youre right, it is easier, you just have to pay attension to cleaning and epoxys, just wondering if I sent lugs to kol klink? sent out about 15 sets so far, and even all the way to australia
