The sad thing is it looks like that sign has been used quite a few times. :(

My favorite ride is along Hwy 1 from Mill Valley to Bolinas then up Bolinas-Fairfax Rd. But before I go I always check the Muir Beach and Stinson Beach web cams to see if the coast is sunny or foggy. Now at the Muir Beach cam all I see is workers in white Tyvek suits mopping up the oil and tar.

They had a triathlon today at Treasure Island, and they had to cancel the swimming portion. A friend of mine is doing it, and he was really looking forward to the swimming, as he really worked hard at this (since it was his weakest discipline).

My wife was doing this tri with TNT and everyone was pretty disappointed that they canceled the swim.

Did they double the run instead to make up for the swim?

No, for the amateurs they just eliminated the swim and started 15 mins later. For the elites, they added two extra run laps on the course so it was run, bike, run.
