I'm playing hooky tomorrow to go for a nice long bike ride. They're forcasting 65 degrees with light and variable winds.
Sounds like a good day to do a metric century on the local rail trail.
Did I mention I'm a school teacher? Why should the kids have all the fun?

Sounds like a great plan to me -- perfect weather!

Have fun!

I play hooky every Friday:) I love the 4 day work week. I'll be out there on the roads tomorrow morning as usual on my Friday morning ride.

I'm a school bus driver. We have the day off due to some kind of teacher's conference thing. I'm going for a ride with a bunch of mostly 50+ folks on Edwardsville's network of rail trails. I'm thinking the ride will be in the 30 to 40 mile range.

Hey, how did you get up to 65 in Illinois, when it is just 45 here @ 1:30 PM (40 miles north of Illinois)?

Coldest day this year in the UK but that was mainly down to Wind Chill. It was cold. Sunday looks just as cold and wind chill will still be there so time to dig out the thermals.

I'm in Southern Illinois. It probably didn't quite make it up to 65 degrees and there was a pretty fair headwind most of the time. I made it 53 miles and mostly had the trail all to myself.:)
