After reading DnvrFox story about bugs and oatmeal, i had to post that:
I went riding yesterday and got two bugs but did not get the nutrition and bulk of any oatmeal. It was a gorgeous day for a ride here in central Kansas.

I was told by a naturalist/ranger that one bug has the protein content of a protein bar! You did well.

I almost got eaten by a bug on the way home last night.....
well actually it was a beetle and the driver WAS preocupied with her
cell phone so I guess it wasn't really a close call. Just my misfortune
for being there I guess.

I read somewhere that honeybees are mysteriously disappearing at an alarming rate. If scientists can't find the cause, we humans are up the creek when it comes to fruit, vegetables, and other things that depend on natural pollination.
