Northern California - Comedy Night 11/28

Hey, Everyone,

I'm hosting a Comedy Night for a Cure on Weds, 11/28. It will start at 7:00pm at the Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville, and net proceeds will go to the benefit of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Cover charge will be $15, hors'doeurves will be included and there will be a cash bar. There will also be a silent auction, including a signed Lance Armstrong jersey from one of his Tour wins. Finally, Sheryl Garrett, the author of "The Personal Finance Workbook for Dummies" will be doing a book signing, again with net proceeds from any books sales benefitting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

It should be lots of fun, and for a great cause! I'll post a flyer when we get it produced.

Great! Not sure if I'll be able to make it there, but I'll definitely schedule for it, if possible. Thanks for sharing this.

BUMP!

It turns out the Lance Armstrong jersey isn't any old jersey, it's one of the yellow ones from his 4th win! They're not making any more of those.

Plus, we will have a couple of autographed guitars from Bruce Springsteen and Carlos Santana, some memorabilia from the various Bay Area sports teams (49ers, Raiders, Giants and A's). And, very cool, laps of Infineon Raceway at speed in a Nascar racecar (ok, you don't get to drive - but a pro from the series will be driving at close to racing speeds). All of which is being auctioned off to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This will be a very fun event - I hope to see some turnout from this forum!

Bump again! This is for a great cause, and how often will you really get a chance to own one of Lance's yellow jersey from a TdF win?!! I hope to see lots of BF'ers there!
