^ It's different when a woman gives you "the look". A man's look is a look, but a woman's look can kill. :D

a womans look is a sign for sex. You're dumb if you got pissed.

I have it on good authority that boys and girls with training wheels can be equally crappy.

Welcome SchwinnGirl...

I'd love to see pictures of your bikes.

Finally, use conjunctions to join two phrases together (remember "School House rock"?)

Sorry. I couldn't help it.

Remember putting periods at the ends of sentences? I'm pretty sure that was popular in the Seventies, too.

I can't speak for Brian (I am not sure he even lived in the 70's) but I can say I remember very little from the 70's. So, you say periods go at the 'ends' of sentences? Is that each end? .I will work on that.

Just like any sport, cycling has its share of "snobs," I think. It sounds like one of those "let's blow by this slow guy . . . " situations. If you were in the group you would have been faster, by the way.

Can't tell you how many times I've got a dirty look from a roadie while riding my mtb on the road (regardless of the fact I'm usually heading to the trailhead)...what's up with that?

One of the less attractive elements of human nature is the urge to create artificial hierarchies and conveniently install ourselves at the top of them. I'm a true roadie, you're not. I'm a real cyclist, you're a guy on a bike. I'm a messenger, you're a hipster. In most corners of society this sort of behavior is regarded as vulgar and not at all nice, but for some reason, a good number of cyclists ("real" and otherwise) feel perfectly free to engage in it. No doubt the perineal nerve is involved in this somehow.

You're absolutely correct. I remember absolutely nothing from the 70's because I wasn't there.

While we're on grammar, it's not s'posed t'be socially acceptable to use contractions in writing or typing. I'm not sure why that's such a problem, but I ain't gonna stop now.

dude you ride like a girl with training wheels on the road where men ride. When I yell, "pull over Fred", you keep riding at your 12mph pace. What do you expect? I have to get close, I dont want to get killed by cars...

I know what you mean!

I see freds like this on the road all the time, it seriously pisses me off:

Sometimes I see guys riding recovery. I pick up the pace and blow by them. Nevermind the fact that they just finished a stage race the day before....

Yes. He was, at one time, our resident troll, but then I outed him on this specific ride. He's very nice in person, although he rubs the big boys the wrong way. I like him and in all fairness this pic occurred after we took off from the liquor store (where we stopped to refuel) and he didn't have time to fill his water bottles, so he just shoved the gatorade bottles in his jersey. :D

That's hilar! Coincidently, I've been reading emails from my favorite 7 year old (daughter of friends) in the whole world. She uses phonetic spelling all the time. Just today she typed the word "anuf" instead of enough. Luv that!

ammended disclaimer: I hereby extend the initial disclaimer specifics to include bad spelling, whether intentional or not.

Amended. :o

Don't make me come over there and -- :fight:

I only get to tease because my own spelling sux rocks. ;)
