Is there a "burn off that turkey" BF ride planned? If not, maybe I'll lead my first SoCal BF ride. I was thinking either Saturday, 11/24 ... or if there is already a BF ride that day, then I'll do it Sunday, 11/25. It'll be basically starting from Encanto, going west towards the Rose Bowl, over St. Katherine's, over to Verdugo, up cardiac hill, then back via Altadena.

I even planned the route on bikely ... http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Turkey-Ride-through-Pasadena

By the way, bikely has a new cool feature, where your plot will follow the contour of the road ... really cool :D

That actually looks like a nice route, and in my neck of the woods too! I might consider riding to the start and either making it a longer ride for me, or cutting out a little early when we go near my house again. Put me down as a maybe.

I thought there was something going on ... in that case, I'll make this the day after, Sunday, 11/25.

I was going to be free that weekend, but my parents pulled the "How about if we come out and see you that weekend" surprise last week. It'll be good to see them, but no (or very short) rides for me.

You can make it really short and meet us by Salvia Canon and Linda Vista, and climb up Inverness and St. Katherine ... but then again, I'm not sure when we'd get to that point.

If it's on Sunday, I could do part of the ride but would have to be back home by about 9:30.

I'm cancelling this ride. Not enough interest. I'll do my normal Sunday Coffee Shop ride instead.
