I was wondering if there was any diference between the Giant carbon frames ... the TCR 1 Carbon is about half the price of the ONCE Carbon ..... I know that the TCR 1 is kitted out with Ultegra and the ONCE bike is with Record but is there any diffreence in the frame weight and the way the frames are manufactured?
cheers

They appear to be the same. My first thought was the TCR1 would have an Alloy steerer fork but that is not the case.

Same frame as the Once. Difference is the components. Thats where the money gets added up quick.
I read somewhere a while back that the ONCE frame was hand-laid and the other two were mechanically done. Just gossip though. Frame weights are the same I think.
I have heard the same thing about the layup. Also heard the fork was yet a bit lighter on the Once frame for whatever reason. Never verified this though. In reality, for us anyway, it is doubtful that we will notice any difference. Too bad they don't offer this bike in standard geometry. I liked it a lot other than the fit just never measured up for me. Just never was able to feel completely comfortable on this bike as it always had that ever so slight weirdness feel about the fit. Ride was great though.
