Rode down the White Rock Creek trail, went around White Rock Lake- a beautiful day, lots of people out, a bit windy but not too bad. Saw a couple of recumbents out, passed a guy on one of those big Coker unicycles. Life is good. :)

Went there myself Friday night with the DORBA group...I now have a new headlight! But it was a BEAUTIFUL night for riding!

Didn't go to White Rock, but rode the Katy Trail today. Beautiful, lots of bikes, joggers, skaters and families. Indeed, Life is Good!

you know, we should probably keep quiet about this. . .
as evidence read the Austin thread, lots of bad mojo on the streets.
While up here in Dallas folks are downright friendly to cyclists (with a few
exceptions of course).
We don't want to jinx it and invite all sorts of outta towners here so put in a
"I got buzzed by a cager" or "Soccer Mom in behemoth SUV almost nailed me. . . " in
all of your ride descriptions.

Hey, maybe Austin's a really cool place to cruise around on a bike, and they're trying to keep us out!
