No bidders, it closes in an hour.

I'd like to buy the bike for my wife's company, and also to play with and ride perhaps.

The description is odd as an "track bike" converted, the only other person I've found with info on it, doesn't refer to it as corrected to a road bike.

No info on Sheldon's web site either.

Mf first road bike was a Panasonic DX1000. It was an entry level steel with cheap Shimano gear. If I remember correctly, there was a whole line of Panasonics, going up to the 6000 series. We block ebay so I couldn't see it. What is the minimum bid on it?

75 dollars. Let me ask you something:

I talked with the owner (he gave me his phone number) and he indicated it has tubular tires, and he can not find these any longer. They are 700 size. This sounds odd.

Also, most of the running gear has been changed from one type to another. (Shimano to Suntour)...

I'm not sure what difference this would make. Just odd.

William,

The suntour stuff is good (depending on model, did he
mention which group?), and the panansonics have a
decent reputation.
One thing tho, that is NOT a track bike, has the wrong dropouts
has drilling for brakes etc. Did he mean was a single speed
when he got it?
for $75. its not a bad deal.
You can get 700c tubulars all over the place, however I
haven't seen any 27 inch tubulars in a long time.
this guy is kind of confused.

I'm gonna have to pass. With shipping the cost goes to much at this time. I was thinking that it'd be a good switch over for my too small Nishiki frame that I've been using as a fixed gear.
