i am taking my crank arm of, and it is stuck
i haev tryed the crank extractor but the thread inb the crank is threaded
i have hit the arm witha mallet but it doesnt move any one got any advice???

You've tried the crank extractor and it doesn't work? Either
a) You don't know how to use it properly - in which case, time for you to do a search
or
b) You've stripped the crankarm extraction threads, in which case you are in a for a world of trouble.
Oh yeah, please don't hit the crankarm/ghetto rig a solution to get the cranks off. The best way is to use the extractor designed for it. Are you sure you are using the proper tool for the proper crank? You might want to give us more information if you want help.
