Chicago, North Branch Trail Complete Repaved

Hello:
FYI, the cook county forest preserve North Branch Trail is now complete and has been repaved from Devon/Caldwell all the way north to the botanic garden in Glencoe.
now you can ride the trail pothole and bump free for over 12mi.
now only if we all can get other trails to be repaved, that is needed, then we can all enjoy cycling better and feel safer riding on newly paved trails.
let your local goverment know which trails need to be repaved for everyone's safety.

How good is the paving? They redid part of Busse Woods and it looks really nice, but it's a washboard to ride on. :eek:

Hey Lowbike, thanks for letting us know. I was wondering when they would get it done. I have to bike quite a way to reach the trail and the last time I got there it was closed.
