Does anyone hail from northwest NJ?
I'll be riding this route or a similar one next week. Does anyone know the roads in the area well enough to tell if these roads are bikeable?
I'm starting in Lambertville, then heading northeast towards Bridgewater and then Bernardsville.

Thank you very much!

I have been on some of the roads at both ends of the ride but not those north of Neshanic Station up to about Rt. 22 . Do you know that Larger Cross Road (and maybe some of the others until you get to Rt. 202) is a dirt road (a very posh dirt road, BTW, with a lot of fancy estates....)? If you want to avoid the dirt road, head for Rattlesnake Bridge Rd. and then go east on Lammington Road. You could take this through Far Hills and turn left on Lake Rd. and make your way up to Pleasant Valley Rd. Check out www.njbikemap.com for details - these maps show where the climbs and dirt roads are. Otherwise, it looks like a nice ride.

So, did you do the ride? What was your take on the route?
