How come I cannot find any information about the 2003 Marzocchi EXR on the website. Is it exactly the same as the 2002 model?

More or less. It is an oem fork. For an average of 200$ it is decent. I ran one for a year and the only thing it couldn't handle was drops...which it shouldnt :)

At that point 3 ftish...but I am also 6'5 and 250. All regular qr forks felt noodly under me. I ended up going qr20 which helped a lot :)
My gf rides hers and loves it (except the rebound is slow) and my cousin has my old fork and loves it as well...

I would talk him down to 200$...it is a used low end fork. The 2003 and 2002's are not different from each other. :) You can sometimes find them new with a warranty for 300$ cdn :)

Something you also should check is the steerer tube length. Since it is used it may have been cut to short for your frame if the bike it is comming off of was smaller or even a different make.

yea it turns out the steerer tube is too short so is it possilbe to buy a new one. Already posted in the bike mech section so i think someone should delete the other one

Its the lowest end Marz fork, but it is still pretty decent. But I don't know what it compares to in rock shox as I don't keep track of their line :)

Can't replace the steerer tube. It's a pressed fitting and you need a whole new steerer tube arch and stancions. IOW, get a new fork!
