Hello bike forums folks,
Since I'm new to this site as well as all forums/user groups I wanted to give a brief introduction.
I live in San Francisco since 1983 (minus a couple of years back in the East Bay). I began riding bikes again in 1993 while traveling South East Asia. I found some of my best times in Asia were while riding a bike. God I love those Chinese single speeds. When I returned I bought a bike and have been riding it and others since then. I feel that riding is an extension of my travels, even when I'm commuting to the library, work, Mt. Tam, the beach, etc.
One of these days I'll actually partake in a long distance cycle touring adventure. Until then I'll continue to live vicariously through others and travel around here.
About my bikes...I have four of them but really only use two.
Nick

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
