Hi everyone, I've lurked here for a while, but never registered until now!

At my college's bike auction yesterday, I managed to get away with a Giant OCR3 for around $400 less than MSRP.. so I was pretty happy about that. :D I'm still pretty new to bikes and all, the bike I got at auction is my first serious bike and I hope to get more into the sport/hobby/whatever! I used to have a car but after an accident it was totalled, and I have had no means of transportation in college.. until now! I hope to go car-free until I really need one. This seems like a supportive community along those lines, so I'm happy to be here.

Thanks everyone. I feel welcomed! Which I guess is the purpose of this section of the forum.. ahem.

Winter cycling? In Florida? Naww, that would be too hard. What with the total lack of snow and relative little cold... :P

UCF indeed! The bike does fit, actually, that's the only reason I bid. I'm short, and it was like the perfect frame size for me (as Giant doesn't do exact sizes for whatever reason, it was a "small"). Thanks!
