I'm no stranger to removing BB's and cranks for older designs, but this one is new to me.

I have the crank removal tools for square taper type, but I don't know what I'll need toolwise for this type =

Thanks in advance for any help, just want to be able to do this work myself (like the rest of my bikes), and I'm new to this type of hollow BB, one sided crank.

The crank bolt may be "self-extracting", that is, when you loosen the bolt on the drive-side, it will also pull the drive-side crank from the axle (which is permanently fixed to the non-drive-side crank).

If not, you'll need a crank puller, which is essentially the same as the square-taper type except the end will be bigger (so it doesn't just get shoved into the much larger hollow axle). See here for Part Tool's instructions: http://www.parktool.com/repair/readhowto.asp?id=122

For the bottom bracket, you just need a special external bottom bracket wrench to remove.

That crank is self extracting. 8mm and wrench away.

just note and remember the order of the shims and wavy washer that comes off on the other side of the crank.

Its a proprietary BB30 system.
