I just got my Donitte 200L-AA, here's how I got it setup on my bike.
The battery case it came with is crap so I'm using the Maxpedition cell phone holder, much more secure.

Sweet battery holder. Nothing wrong with the OEM one, but love the ruggedness of yours.

I tucked mine on the underside of the stem and looped the cable once around the bars -- the light is just left of center, then the cable goes back, under, across in front, over, and to the AA battery pack. The pack is actually facing backwards, keeping the opening & connector pressed against the steerer tube. I wiggle it loose to pull the batteries without having to undo the strap.

I put the rear pack between the saddle rails -- there's actually enough space for the pack to rest halfway inside. The trick, though, is that it's a Fizik seat, and I'm using one of their clip-on bags, which lets me access the battery pack in about five seconds. ;)

The battery block DiNotte supplies loses some battery retention after a while and the batteries can pop loose on rough terrain. Wrapping a rubber band around them solves the problem.

Thank you for the tip, the 200L is pretty bright but it leaves me wanting more light.
The 600L is calling me, I can hear it.

My wife used her new 200L this morning on her weekly mtb ride around a local campus. She said it was awesome. I plan to eventually add a 600 and a taillight but right now the 200L does her fine.

I am using a dinotte 200L bar mount and find it bright and works well for moderate paced road riding but for faster road and trail riding I needed to add a helmet mount 200L. BTW be very careful using that much stress on your steerer (especially with off road hits)!! Those extensions are a convenience if you need to have very high bars but really put a lot of serious stress on your sreerer!....... Sorry to go off topic but thought it might be an important safety issue.

So your 200L is the generic version... I got the original D-I-N-O-T-T-E. I hope you "donitte" is just as bright as my dinotte and gives of light better than my Rollex keeps time.

I have the DiNotte 200L and 140L. Today I was riding - 35 deg F and pooring down rain. I had both lights in the high/low flashing mode (I prefer this flash pattern because the light is always on). 2.5 miles into my ride I was stopped by a police officer. He wanted to know what kind of light I had (he was coming towards me from my front), and couldn't believe how visible it was. He could see it from the other end of the straight-away, approx. 1.75 miles away!

What batteries is the OP using? Looks like 2650mah duracell (heh duraace) batteries?

I may have found the ideal case for the
DONITTE 200L batteries.
