I've not seen any helmet that looks quite that simple and cool looking (the silver one worn by the recumbent biker man). Any ideas on manufacturer/model? Thanks!

Can't say, but if you are looking for a helmet that doesn't have that "Alien" look, try a Bell Metro. There's some decent accessories for it, too.

Yes, I really like the Bell Metropolis myself. I'm planning on getting that for my commuting. I have been trying to figure out who makes that silver helmet. It doesn't seem to be any major U.S. manufacturer, at least not Bell or Giro...

It looks an awful lot like my Bell Alchera. I'm too lazy to post a link right now, but look it up and you may agree.
