Giant TCR Advanced frame (2007)
DA brifters and derailleurs (RD transferred from old bike)
Ultegra calipers and cassette (old bike)
Wipperman chain
FSA SLK crankset and BB
Bontrager XXX Lite post (old bike)
Toupe saddle
FSA K Force compact bars
Ritchey 110 WCS alloy stem
Ksyrium Elite wheels (old bike)
Speedplay Zero Ti pedals (old bike)
My old bike was a TCR C1, and this is pretty similar. It's a touch stiffer, and significantly blingier. It could be placebo effect, but it does feel like it corners better.
The wheels don't suit the rest of the setup, but they've been reliable.
The tape and saddle are white because I thought I would be getting an R3-SL. The medium TCR is just right in the top tube, and it seems every bit the bike the R3 is, for substantially less. I think white works ok with this frame.
After a month and a half it's good to be riding again.

thats awesome. let me know how you like the ride. i'll probably be getting a tcr later this month. good lookin bike.
I loved my TCR C1. In the 4 days I've ridden this bike it seems quicker and stiffer. I would imagine I'll feel it on longer rides, but it's my impression that it also handles better. The wheels are the same, so I attribute that to the frame. It's also lighter through a combination of better components and the lighter frame, which is of course nice.

new bikes that break when you drop them, hurrah! snicker snicker... needs more steel, along with some bright colors or chrome... but hey, compact geometry.. saves them money, and makes you faster! oh wait..

No hard feelings. Truth be told, I would have preferred a frame with a little more color, but this was the scheme available.
As far as the steel thing, you're smoking crack or you're even older than PCad.

1.) If you smoke crack, you'd never get to be as old as Pcad.
2.) The low profile paint job on that bike ROCKS.
Don't crash it.
