why Stagecoach? It's in January, this is in April.

I wont do the January one anymore....either too cold or to windy
They now have one in April as well!! Might be nice in the spring there!

This looks like a good ride for a good cause. I'd be interested. Might be fun to get a big group to ride it and follow it with dinner.
Do you guys know... does this route replace the old Guacamole Grande ride? I miss that ride...

pick your gear right, there are only a few flat sections between the climbs. Mostly rollers til the next good climb, rise and repeat. Top of couser canyon is 10%ish for the last few turns but most 7%ish up.
If its similar to Guacamole... the ride is either up or down, not much in between. But totally scenic. Well worth traveling down to Fallbrook. Maybe I put this on the calendar for next year. This year? Too out of shape! (well I am in a shape - but "round" is not so good for cycling!)

Rice Canyon might be a little burned now but if anyone wants to ride that area, let me know.
I rode Rice Canyon as soon as the smoke cleared and you really don't see much of the burn area. I expected it to be really bad but it wasn't.
