Rio Hondo trail status

Does anyone know what construction has done to the trail? Last time I was on the rio hondo in Montebello (Beverly BLVD) the bridge had burned during construction and the path was blocked. Is there a look cleat friendly way to continue south? Also are there any other detours or closures for a cyclist going from Whittier Narrows to Long Beach (Rio hondo -> LA river path)?

Still under construction at Beverly Blvd. I was there yesterday. You can exit the trail at Rea Grant park and cross over right before the bridge. It'll take less that two minutes to pass over.
