Hi all
I just bought a new (to me) road bike (cervelo soloist team, damaged, long story) and it came with some 16/20 spoke wheels. They won't work for my clydeness - and the Deep V's always come up over here.
I am planning to do RAGBRAI and an across-Ohio ride next summer and need wheels that I don't have to worry about.
I think I might sell the wheels that came with the bike and have some Deep V's built up. To my knowledge, my local bike shops don't build wheels... but I'll double-check.
So who built your wheels? I've seen a few people recommended online and am looking to shop around. Thanks.
Any alternative wheels also??

I bought one from an LBS, had to order the rim and paid about $70. That was before I found out I could find them online for about $50.
I really got lucky once at a local LBS. They had a box of rims at a clearance sale. I picked one up for $25. I picked up a Dura Ace 9speed hub at Supergo for $99. Built it up myself. I don't plan on finding many other sales like that! If I had known they were going to be such good wheels, I would have bought 5 or 6 more.:D

$350 with Ultegra and $300 with 105's. For a $50 difference, I will go with the Ultegra.

Check over at Eddy's Bike Shop in Stow and see what they can do for you about wheels. Back when I lived in Cleveland, that was my shop of choice.
BTW - the across-Ohio ride you're doing... Is it GOBA?
