Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I got passed by a guy on blue trek with a red PI jersey:) That was the only Trek I saw all day;)
I was supposed to meet a friend at 9 in San Ramon, but we missed connections, so I did it alone. I summitted around 11:30, I think. I was wearing a Napa Valley Century jersey (the one with an eagle on the back).

I remember an eagle on a jersey. Was it a really "colorful" jersey and did I say "car back" and did you motion to the car to hold up 'cuz some bikes were coming down? Were you riding a red bike?

Yup, that was me. I was actually surprised the car paid attention and didn't try to pass 'till I motioned it by. You must be feeling better - you were doing pretty well when you passed me.

We're planning on riding MT from our house in Antioch. Maybe we'll see you out there.
Have fun!

How Funny. Sorry I didn't recognize you. Yup. All better except for minimal aches in the ribs and a clicking noise in the shoulder blade that won't go away. Luckily, they don't act up while in the biking position. My only problem right now is on the descents. My nerves still get the best of me on the way down so I'm the one being passed and dropped going down the mountain. It was kinda embarrassing on last month's ride down Mt. Tam. Fortunately, sesamecrunch waited for me to catch up :).

Sitting in a pile of clothes to be washed since it didn't quite pass the "sniff" test .

I didn't recognize you either - and you were nice enough to say "hello" as you went by. Yesterday, taking it easy on the descent was a good idea - too much traffic on the mountain for my tastes. Lots of tourists in minivans and SUVs swinging wide to pass cyclists just as they got to a blind corner.....At one point I thought I was auditioning to be a hood ornament.
And as for my jersey, it's being pressed so it's ready for tomorrow!

Well, just got back. Had a great time - you guys about killed me, though! It was great meeting everyone, if only at the start and regroup spots :D.
Pics when I get cleaned up and rested.
