It's almost tempting to make the trip down there and buy tons of stuff to sell on ebay. Hmmmmm. It's just not worth the gas and time from Pasadena to Vista for 2 pairs of shorts, some gloves and maybe a jersey.

I've been there twice and this is how I remember it.
It's in their warehouse (naturally). There are a different double sided racks with plain jerseys, custom jerseys, silk screened jersys, shorts and jackets for men on one side of the area and women on the other. The middle of the area has warmers and gloves. There are 2-3 curtained dressing rooms. Everything on the inside is first quality.
On the outside of the building there is a ~ 15'x25' roped off area with boxes of store returns. This is the stuff that you need to examine real closely because a lot of it is damaged.
I think the first quality plain jerseys were $10 and the screened ones were $20-25. If I'm mistaken, feel free to correct me.

I wish there was an Etxe Ondo or Giordana warehouse sale in Torrance with those prices.
But I'm not picky. I would go even if it's in South Redondo. :p

I've been there twice. I see it as a place to pick up decent cheap jerseys, arm warmers, leg warmers etc. IMO, Canari shorts/bib are not the best so unless you are looking for lots of cheap shorts for commuting and don't care about long distance performance I wouldn't mess with them.
Be sure to try everything you buy on, as one of the reasons they may be for sale is mislabeling/mis-sizing. I've ended up with a few unwearable items because of this.

Also, if you're a guy sized small, be sure to go there on the first day of the warehouse sale if you're planning to get some nicer looking jerseys. :)

I love the Canari Jerseys.
At the last sale I picked up a pair of their high end shorts and I am very pleased with them. I did a century in them and had no problems.
Their cheap shorts are pretty much crap but the great thing about the sale is that all versions of their shorts are the same price. So I got their $80 shorts for 10 or 15 bucks. You just have to search the racks for the good stuff. A majority of the shorts they put out for the sale are crap but you can find a handful of good stuff if you look.

Wow, this sale is attracting people from 1000 miles away?
I can deal with going down a size on the shorts (it will make me feel better anyway), but how is the padding? I really like my PI Attack shorts with the current saddle, but thinner pads tend to be uncomfortable for longer distances.
I work part time for Frontier. I thought it might make for a fun day trip. :D

45min with no traffic. 60+ minutes with traffic. Actually going north is not that bad in the morning and Sat morning shouldnt be a problem at all.

that's the only discount?Nope. All their clothing are already heavily discounted. Sometimes they give some extras if you bring a coupon. I think last time it was free gloves for purchases over $25. This time it's additional discounts on shorts like Efficiency said.
How does Canari clothing compare with PI or Performance clothing?
What is the top of the line of Canari clothing?

PI is more mainstream I guess. But 90% of the stuff I wear is canari. Performance carries alot of canari clothing.

if anyone makes it over and sees SMALL arm warmers, pick up a pair and i'll pay you for them. they didn't have any when i went this morning. i was only 30 mins late and lots of stuff was already gone.

i didn't even look at shorts. i was buying for someone else and looking for a jacket for me. they had some really nice jackets, but a little overkill for this part of the world.

They had only a few bib shorts and they were hidden behind the regular shorts. I picked up a pair of knicker length ones and I think the majority of bibs were the long ones. came out with a lot of stuff for only $60.

Ok just got back. The selection was good on Jerseys and Jackets but the short selection was weak. It was mostly cheap trainer worthy shorts or baggy mtb shorts.
Lots of jerseys though and some nice jackets. I ended up with two jerseys and a pair of leg warmers for $30
I also stopped by the Zoot warehouse sale. They had very little cycling stuff left. But thier stuff is nice for multi sport people (runners, tris etc..)
I bought a few pairs of socks. They were having a great deal on brand new wetsuits $75 if your in need.
Also it appears to be warehouse sale central this weekend. I saw signs for Travel gear, Outdoor clothing, skate clothing, and a few others all within the area.

Just got back about an hour ago. Since I had splurged big time at the Pearl Izumi sale on Black Friday, I only picked up a single long sleeve jersey for myself and womens short sleeve jersey for my friend at the Canari sale. I was not real thrilled with their selection of mens jerseys and shorts :-(. At Zoot, I picked up a tri tank top and shorts for myself, and a nice womens long sleeve multisport top (like the ones the sales staff were wearing) for my friend.
