Hi all,
Thanks for helping to create such a great and informative forum. I'm a year round commuter from Mineapolis who recently moved to CO. I'm looking forward to milder winter rides and contributing to and learning from this great site.

Hello surly power, I think I can guess what bike you've got :D .

Feel free to contribute good advice and tips to the Winter Cycling forum. Even though you no longer have to brave the extreme conditions of Minnesota, I think a fair number of folks would still consider riding in Colorado in the winter to be fairly daunting.

Welcome to BF!

Welcome, I lived north of you in Golden for a long time. Colorado is only a bit warmer then Minneapolis. Just a lot drier, especially in the summer. When you are used to the altitude a ride to Evergreen, then Bergen Park, and on up Mt. Evans can be fun. For the two months a year the road is cleared past Summit Lake. look into the Denver Bicycle Touring Club for fun and any of the racing teams for otherwise.
