Great job, Lee. I could have sworn I heard them announce your name as you crossed the line. I happened to be there, and wandered over to the chute, but never did see you. So sorry.

And, Asia, you are rarely wrong, and little did I know that you were easy...damn, I could have taken advantage of that. :p:D

And she likes to be reprimanded

You showered, changed, had dinner, drove around Tucson, got lost on the I-10 and then you came back to wait for me........THANKS :p

At age 75, I no longer race/push for time, except in the Sr. Olympics.
This was my 24th El Tour. My wife/tandem partner has only ridden it 15 times with me. That steep short blip on Snyder road does catch a few folks by surprise!
See ya'll in '08!

On a serious note, I hope I didn't give anyone the wrong impression. I have the utmost respect for TnT riders et al. They do a wonderful job for others, and accomplish some serious personal milestones.

You rock, Ron!

Since this was my first time doing TnT (and a Bike event for that matter) I have to agree with the sentiment that alot of TnT's don't know what they are doing but the majority of them are there just to complete the event. I came with the Washington DC crew and we all lined up at the back of the pack to we would be out of the way. Generally they tell us to call out "On your left" whenever you pass someone but I only did it if I was the first one passing of a group.

At any rate I loved this ride and would like to do it again next year where I am actually doing it for time. This year I sat up most of the way waiting for someone from my team so I know I could have done much better than my 8:22.

Women of Tuscon:

I've gotten word that Enzo Gucci is moving to Arizona to find the blonde girl in the short shorts.

Yikes.

That's too bad he's moving to Tucson.

She lives in Vegas.

Good luck Enzo. But mkadam is right; little Lara (short stuff) is a resident of Las Vegas. Tucson has some nice weather though.

Nevermind,

Enzo Gucci hates Vegas.

Besides, Enzo Gucci would be lost without the San Gabriel Mountains.

Why does Enzo hate Vegas and more importantly - why does Enzo refer to self in third person? :p

When talking about women, Enzo talks in third person to absolve himself of any responsibility should a keyboard warrior not sense the sarcasm and attempt (in vain, might I add) to call him out. Enzo doesn't have the time to duke it out online.
