Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Flipping countersunk chainring

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I'm running a TA Alize 1/8" 130bcd chainring that has a small amount of countersinking around where the chainring bolts clamp down. Will anything bad happen if i flip the chainring around?

Why do you want to flip it? Should be fine, though.

If you run the chainring on the inside of the spider for a better chainline but still want the outside facing out. Just make sure you have enough thread engagement on the bolts and you'll be fine.

Assuming the teeth wear mostly to one side, it ought to increase the ring's lifespan right?
