Hi !
First, I'm french (so scuse me for my hesitant english !)
I've read the three main current french books about cyclist's training.

Well, I wanted to know wether Anglo-Saxon people had a different approach of cyclist's training.
So, I ordered on the website Amazon the book "The cyclist's training bible" by Joe Friel.
I've recieved the book just this day.

I would like to know what Anglo-saxon people think of Joe Friel ? of this book ?
The few comments I've read so far were very good but...

Thank you !:)

Oh, I have made a mistake in the title : not 'the cyclist's bible" but "the cyclist's training bible"

C'est formidable.......as a basic, beginning place to start. Depending on your age, he also has another, "Cycling Past 50" highly regarded by us geezers (trans. "vieux gars"). Bon chance!

I haven't read that one but from comments on other websites, I think Friel's views about base period training have changed somewhat since he wrote that book. http://www.ultrafit.com/newsletter/november07.html#AA
