I have a Merida PC500 I bought. What are the differences in all the different brands of SLA Batterys? I need 2 12 V 9ah batterys for my bike. Has anyone used the Tempest brand batteries from BatterySpec.com? They seem to have been in business for quite awhile. The prices and shipping charges are the best I found the web.
What is the difference between a UPS replacement battery and a Scooter battery.
Thanks for any help

these lead acid batteries are very easy to buy and cheap, there are many brands just get some that are deep cycle agm type i dont think brands really matter much these days

BB is a known brand used by many OEM manufacturers of high performance scooters. The only spec I would be concerned with is - max current. 50-100A or more would indicate a well built battery.

the only basic difference is how long some will run,the amp hours and thetother difference is some are only made for starting things and not continuasly running ,deep cycle ones are made to run on ebikes i got two lead acid batteries on my bike 12 volts each wired in series to make 24 volt pack 10 ah not all batteries are made to run on these ebikes.some lead acid batteries are designed for a specific purpose like backing up ups, generators emergency lighting etc, like i said get a 12 volt 9ah deep cycle or if you can fit a bigger one on your bike you can buy 12 volt 15 ah ones too
