I've finally gotten around to building up my Zieleman.
I have a nice set of old logo Cinelli Giro D'Italia bars that I want to use
with Suntour Superbe brakes and levers.
For the life of me I can't get the lever clamp to fit onto my bars,
nor do I see a way of opening the clamp.
Did Suntour levers come in different sizes? the
clamp is marked 23.8 and as far as I can tell is not adjustable.
Is there some secret to this that I don't know?

be danged. I just went out to the garage - a campy is just a little bigger and will fit; a superbe will not. I have them both away from the levers. huh. The clamps interchange with the levers, it looks like (sort of an expensive fix, I know).

I think I'm gonna find some dia compe levers and cannibalize them.
