yea i have the t2. it works, but it is a little short, and not very adjustable. Also, immediately replace the bolts with higher quality bolts if you get it. I also have a pair of syntace bars which i really like, but they were $80. forte should work fine if your not picky
I also have the T2. Used them for my last oly of the year. They work great and you can't beat the price.
yah im not too picky, kinda new to this whole tri thing. I do my first sprint tri in april so ive been training for it. Im riding a trek 1500, for now I just wanted to through some clip ons on their.
try to get some profiles or syntace bars on craigslist or ebay: they are significantly more adjustable and you will be spending a lot of time on them if you do anything more than an oly
If you have a Performance Bike near you, you can score a sweet deal on those bars. I regularly see them on sale for $39. On Tuesdays, during the lunch hour, they have a regular 10% off sale including sale prices.
Thats how I got mine. I don't really have any complaints other than that I can't get the bars tight enough to stay in place. I regularly am able to pull on them and change the angle which in my understanding is that they should not move. Other than that they have worked fine for me.
i have the Forte T2 bars. they aint bad.
