Hello Folks,
After road slicking my MTB and checking the pavement out, I am without a doubt making the leap to a road bike.
I have test rode Giant's OCR 1 and TCR 2, and Lemond's B. Aires.
I'll be honest, they all felt awesome, and all were a blast flying up the surrounding hills. But which one to get?
I have narrowed my choice down to the TCR 2 and the Lemond. I think I am marginally more partial to the Lemond, but I am worried this steel bike will potentially hinder my modest road racing intentions.
- Will this Lemond climb the hills and keep up with a TCR 2?
- For an entry level road rider, will the differences in these
two bikes make that big of a difference?
- Are Giant's carbon seat posts strong enough to trust?
Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
