Hi Everyone,

I'm in San Diego for the week and have been looking at doing a ride in the Pine Valley area and in particular climbing Mt. Laguna. Has anyone here done this ride and have any thoughts on routes? I've been looking at bikely a bit and have founds these:

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks.

I've done from Pine Valley to Julian (and on to Warner Springs) via Kitchen Creek and Mt Laguna, but haven't done the part on Cuyamaca Hwy back to PV.

the second day of the San Diego AYH Christmas bike ride goes from PV to Warner Springs, and the route via Kitchen Creek is an alternate that's a nicer (if longer and more climbing) ride than directly over Sunrise Highway. I've had to go through snow more than once on the upper part of Kitchen Creek (and sometimes on Sunrise Highway), but that's always on December 27. It should be drier this time of year.
