I couldn't help feeling that the Specialized Roubaix Comp that I bought two months ago was just slow. The frame felt flexy under acceleration and climbing and my speed was definitely slower than on the Allez that it replaced. On the plus side, I didn't feel beat up when I returned from a ride on the Roubaix.
So, when I saw a Lynskey with full Ultegra come up for sale at a LBS on ebay, I had to go by to take a look. Once I rode it, I couldn't resist. It accelerates like the Allez, but rides almost as soft as the Roubaix. I took it out for a 33 mile ride yesterday and was 10 percent faster than the Roubaix.
I'm a happy guy! Just had to share.
Best Regards,
Ted
