I couldn't help feeling that the Specialized Roubaix Comp that I bought two months ago was just slow. The frame felt flexy under acceleration and climbing and my speed was definitely slower than on the Allez that it replaced. On the plus side, I didn't feel beat up when I returned from a ride on the Roubaix.

So, when I saw a Lynskey with full Ultegra come up for sale at a LBS on ebay, I had to go by to take a look. Once I rode it, I couldn't resist. It accelerates like the Allez, but rides almost as soft as the Roubaix. I took it out for a 33 mile ride yesterday and was 10 percent faster than the Roubaix.

I'm a happy guy! Just had to share.

Best Regards,
Ted

Very nice. I think that the great ride of Ti has ruined me for other materials.

Sweet ride. I've owned a Specialized Roubaix Comp, and currently an S-Works Roubaix. The S-Works is stiffer than the Comp was. I've also taken a Lynsky out for a short 25 mile test ride, and concur with your assessment. Comfort and quickness. Hope you get many happy miles with it.

After a huge rash of new bike pronouncements earlier this year, things have been quiet of late. Maybe this can jumpstart us!

That must be real luck. The LBS was local and you saw it on ebay!
