19" ten speed, friction shifters w/ "S's" on the ends. Looks like 70s bike boom, but I was wondering if anyone could help out w/ the ID. I checked underneath the BB for a serial but didn't see anything.

Looks kinda low end but nothing wrong with that as long as you have fun riding it.

Varsity,
Looks like a nice clean one. Made from the finest retired battleship steel. :D

I'd say Varsity if it was a Continental of that era it would have center pull brakes and aluminum drop bars. Looks pretty nice from the pictures, ride the crud out of it that old boy will take it.

I wish I could use it as a beater but at 22" (I can't measure worth crap today ;)) it's so small I just about fly off the damn thing I I put any force into the pedals. I tried to give it away here, but no one wanted it. So, I'll put it on CL for BO/trades to see if anyone wants it. If not, it's off to the bicycle kitchen in LA. Thanks for the info everyone!
