Just read another review about the latest product and how it's designed to be the "fastest".

This is referring to the new Wilier Cento Crono bike developed by John Cobb.

Maybe this is best posted on BTR's or ST's website, but what determines "fastest"? Are there so many ways a product can be fast that if the product in any way, under any rider, at any angle, under any condition is 0.0001% faster than anything currently available, it can be called the fastest? Wilier's claim is that it was designed to be the fastest on the market. Fastest for who, Cunego? Fastest by itself in a wind tunnel? Blind scientific study? (yeah right!)

Is Dave Zabriskie going to be slower because he'll ride a Felt next year?

Not sure about the fastest, but its got my vote as being right up there with the Transition as one of the ugliest. Actually it looks like a pregnant transition.

Marketing != truth. Unless, of course, it's Cervelo or Zipp doing the selling.

The transition is way sexier than that thing. Why are the frame cutouts for the wheels not close or even the same shape as the wheels, that part just looks messed up!

I like the part about the lab being used by Harley Davidson. I'm pretty sure Harley's aren't known for their aerodynamics.

Is it just me, or is that front wheel so far forward of the cranks that there wouldn't actually be any toe overlap??

there is already a link on st asking for numbers for the frame's aero qualities. should be interesting to see what happens there.

hasn't gone anywhere so far, but i am interested to see what happens.
