Wind 18-31, Temp 69F Going to New Record of 76F

I've already done a 5 mile walk.

So, should I go for a ride? And the answer is:

Yep - gotta give it a try, even if I do get blown off the trail!

What would you do?

Wind sucks +1. Conversing yesterday with another biker/runner and we agreed that if we had to give up one or the other (biking or running) (assuming body could sustain either equally) "running" would win. Running is more of a pure exertion exercise less susceptible to the wind. Biking (once you get beyond slow cruising) is almost pure wind resistance mitigation. Due to some skeletal issues, I have to compromise into primarily biking. (And it's such a terrible compromise. I don't know how I stand it. Cruising on my favorite bike through the back country roads on a nice fall day in the upper midwest, ..just pure torture...)

Go for it!
The wind is currently just 11mph at Centennial Airport, so you should be ok.

Have a good one,
Ted

OK, I did my ride. About 3 hours, which included a Subway lunch (6 inch turkey on wheat), a stop at the nearby bike shop after the lunch when I saw my tire was flat, to fix a goathead flat (I was close, and just said to myself - "Self - To heck with it, someone else can fix it for once"). A stop at McDonald's for a hot fudge sundae, and then, in retribution, the GOATHEAD GODS said I must get five goatheads AT ONE TIME - so a stop to pull out 5 goatheads and put in one more tube, and then finally HOME!! I guess I encountered a GOATHEAD nest! Right there on the cement trail.

The wind wasn't too bad after I got started, and despite two flats from goatheads, it was a nice ride.
