Any favorite bike shops in the Point Loma area? I'd like to buy a new jersey while I'm here ...

Not sure; I'm not in the area.
Do you have a car? Performance now 50% off lowest priced clearance items, 20% sale post-thanksgiving; Pearl Izumi outlet store (Del Mar) 40% off post-thanksgiving; Canari warehouse sale Dec 7/8.
Point Loma going inland in Hillcrest area there's Adams Avenue bike; but you'll still need a car.

There's B&L Bikes right on the SW corner of Rosecrans and the I-5. You get there by going East on Rosecrans, and right before it turns into the I-8, there it is on the left.
Not really Point Loma, but pretty close.

You always need to kill time.I always leave here early in case I hit traffic.
I work in Pt Loma...
B&L on east side of Camino del Rio South - right at the Rosecrans exit off I5 or I8. It's a Specialized Concept Store. I'm not impressed with that store's clothing selection (Solana Beach is MUCH better).
Performance Bike Shop on Midway about a mile north of Rosecrans i nthe Vons Shopping Center. There is also a Sports Chalet in the same center that has a small selection of cycling jerseys (usually Canari).
Moment Cycle Sport farther down on Rosecrans (near Shelter Island Dr), but it's a small triathlon-oriented shop with not very much variety of clothing in stock.

Aww come, you don't need a car to get from Point Loma to Adam's Ave, its not far. Mission Hills Bike shop is a bit closer, on Washington just up the hill from the I-5.

Bump ...
I have access to a car, so getting somewhere is not a problem.
I'd like to rephrase my question: is anyone aware of a good bike shop somewhat close to Point Loma (say, not more than 20-30 minutes drive) that:
1) Has a good clothing selection, and
2) Will be having a big sale in the next couple of days.
Thanks!

The Canari warehouse sale (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=362942) is far and away the best bet for bargain clothing, although it's in Vista and a few weeks away.
Other than that, Performance on Midway always has some clothing on sale and their house brand stuff is reasonably priced. Standard LBS clothing selection is usually limited and overpriced even on sale.

The Pearl Izumi Factory Outlet store in Del Mar is having a 40% off sale from 6am to 8am Friday morning. My friends and I are riding from the Del Mar Starbucks at 8am, so I plan to seeing what I can get before heading over there :)

Are the prices on the Pearl Izumi website the same as those in the outlet store (before the sale)?

I have nothing constructive to say, but I'll add that I live in Point Loma. Go Pointers!

I remember in high school seeing the Point Loma High School wrestlers' jackets had a large picture of a cartoon dog pointing at himself with his thumbs. I though it was one of the dumbest things ever.
