Completely depends on with who.

In order to get a taste, I would sip from someone elses cup or take a forkful from their plate. Thats about it. Only from my friendly girls.

Sure - most of my friends I wouldn't care that much. Ice cream from the same spoon (like, take a half a bite and pass it over) would be reserved for the SO though.

Same plate, sure thing. Same utensils, just with the SO.

Yes I've shared portions and perhaps a fork or two with some friends. I mean it wasn't a one fork, one meal - and three person kinda thing - it was a taste or a try of their food, sometimes I've finished something. With the SO (I mean Ex SO) then it a given I guess.

I don't do it as much anymore, but then I seem to just hang with my same group of close friends and so anybody next to me I don't know - well thank you for letting me look at that hunk-o-steak off your fork, it looks really yummy, but ... thanks, but no thanks.

Oh and there's some things to share ... and some not too. OK, cereal - off limits, hotdog - pushing it, but OK, steak - no problem. Jello? ehhh, dooooooood get yer own!

Seriously some things are cool, others not. And I don't have any kids so I'm not kid oriented - for me to finish up a bowl of melty ice cream as I've seen my friends do ... I know it's stupid ... but I couldn't :(

I would share it with any female friends i have, i know them well. Guy friends just seems weird, maybe a cup but thats about it. Family i don't have a big problem with either.

I remember the first date I had with my high school love. We went to the movies and I asked her if she wanted one straw or two (ok, yeah, I wasn't all that smooth back then so bite me. Luckily I didn't need to be ;) ). She said 2 and I was dejected the rest of the date. We went up going out for over a year and a half but we always laughed about that - and yes everytime afterwards it was just one.

A significant other you normally do unmentionable stuff with anyway, so I can't see how it would matter there.

Would I share a fork with someone? Probably not. There are plenty to go around, stamped sheet metal is cheap. But I do share beverages with people I know, and finish food off. As I posted a long time ago, I saw the light about sharing drinks with co workers when I got sprayed by some guys blood at work.

In general, I'm not real germ phobic unless I have good cause to be.

I have and will share eating utensils with dear friends, mainly mine are years-long friends, so we know each other, likely have seen each other naked, probably shared a shower in a mixed-gender group and not minded, and generally have been as completely intimate as friends can get without crossing that line.

One camping trip, there was seven of us, two spoons, and one plate and cup. We didn't mind at all. Go figure.

I do it all the time with friends. I don't care too much about germs like that unless someone is sick. :) Wanna share my ice cream cone?

For some reason guys, like me, doesn't really care sharing forks, spoons, cups, or straws with pretty women. I wonder why that is.

It really wouldn't bother me too much. Anybody I'm even a little bit combfortable with I would share food/drink with. I guess being in college I get numb to whole Germ things. Jesus Christ if I started caring about that I would probably have an anxiety attack playing a game of BP at a party.

usually when i beat a dudes tail we arent on sharing mashed potatoes terms.
