I'm redoing my bike's drive train (Sora -> 105) partly as a first-timer learning experience, and what I just realized yesterday is that my bike came with one of those "Dog Fang" devices already installed. You know, one of these things: http://www.jensonusa.com/store/product/CG409B11-Deda+Dog+Fang+Roadbike+Chain+Guide.aspx.
It apparently was not installed correctly, as I did drop the chain off the inside ring a couple of times. So can anyone tell me how to position this after I get everything installed and adjusted? I assume that it would go so that it just clears the chain along the top of the small ring, but are there any particular guidelines?
