Stamina, I've got it.
Re: Charity ride - maybe.
The Mulholland Massacre Century looks more enticing.
Normally I'm busy with other rides - and the non-riding time is devoted to other pleasures and projects. We'll see though.

# 1 - what an adorable furry face. He (?) is so cute!!
# 2 - no - I'm not giving him (?) a bath
# 3 - I just cleaned my bathroom, including washing the walls  - I'm obviously desperate for movement since I'm not out on my bike today. Oh well, I'll have a clean place.

Official ride report:
Showed up in Long Beach. Rode with many people through Watts, Compton and South Central while having the locals cheer us on. Arrived downtown and then left to the party spot...
Ate two great tamales, drank a beer, met dddave, ggallin, placid casual, merckx89 and a couple others...
then came home and realized how much fun I had!
Enzo Gucci and Teammate were there.
Were you both in the Bearclaw gear? If so, I saw you but didn't put the pieces together until I looked at your signature picture...

Yessir, that was us.
We had a good time. We headed back to pasadena at around 12:30 with a group of fixies and some folding bikes/old mountain bikes mixed in. The folding bikes and mountain bikes were movin slow, so it took 2 hours to get back to Pasadena from downtown. It was pretty damn cool though, rarely do we take the time to just cruise along, relax and not be in any hurry.

It was a great ride, though coming home over cahuenga pass in the fixie at two in the morning was not fun. Total mileage was 45 or so. 3 sparks, 3 Heineken's, 2 tamales, and a cup of the beer they had there, whatever it was, made for an interesting ride home too.
the beer was coors light then fat tire. i had a mixture of both.

Tiffanie is hot, but as gorgeous as she is on the outside, the insides are even prettier. ;)
the insides are even prettier. ;)
i could, but i won't.
here's my route. this says 34.11 miles, but my computer says 37.91. i didn't account for beer runs or all the riding around we did at meeting points.

+1 on Coors Light, I can't stand it. BUT, i filled my water bottle with it, and on the ride home, it did the trick; it tastes like water.
I like Fat Tire and Stella, but I think they're both overrated :)

I was there. I didnae bring a camera, nor did my friends - we were all rushing to get to the start for various reasons, mostly because we're all super busy most of the time. (That is an understatement.) A few portrait shots were taken, however, of the three of us. Also not hard to find. :)
It's not hard to get pictures of me, btw. I've been around.
Gotta go - holiday party rounds these days. :o

Wish I'd spotted this thread before heading to the toy ride myself. I still don't really know any socal riders very well, and I don't think I've ever met anyone from here. I did the hollywood feeder ride and bailed out about 12:30 with a group heading to Echo Park (I was west hollywood bound). My legs were feeling great, and I wound up dropping the group. Total mileage for the day was about 40, since I did 16 miles of commuting for work plus the toy ride and the trips to and from. Probably my second longest day on a fixed gear, but I absolutely love riding it, so that's sure to change.
Those Tamale's were freakin' great, though, as was the free fat tire ale. Riding uphill on a fixie with a belly full of beer, however, left quite a bit to be desired.

i was still fairly drunk after the 17 mile ride back to my truck so i slept in culvler city until about 430.
