Just learned how to do this, thought I'd post a video for everyone to enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ek4e6OPP5cY
Next up is a bar spin, but I'll need a new stem. we'll see when that happens.
Also feel free to check out this video of my friends fixed gear tall bike. The filming was done on the Nishiki/Fuji tallbike in the backwards circle video. Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIInUEri1Tk

I forgot to mention that that disc wheel has no lock ring because there isn't room for one.

Im not a tallbike hater but whats the benefit of it being taller besides being heavier? Not that that is a benefit, of course.
Seriously, why ride one at all instead of a normal bike?

i'm pretty sure you ride one because it's tall. it has absolutely no practical application at all. (might help balance a little?) it's just fun, it's not a means of realistic transportation.
and to the OP, i'm impressed. some people post themselves doing some pretty lame stuff, but you got some skill in my book.

there really isn't a benefit, per se, but it's fun to be higher than normal. the balance is different, too, and it can be sort of scary but pretty thrilling to ride one. it's fun to see traffic from a different angle as well....the thing about tall bikes that i've always hated, including about the one i already own, is that you can't stop. what are you gonna do, put a foot down? fixed gear tall bikes...i should try slapping one of my fixed wheels on there, hmmm. duh. never even thought of that.

That thing looks fun! and scary....nice work! My disc has no lockring either (sugino 75)....pick a good size cog and loctite! I went 17T for skid patches.

are you serious? it looks fun as ****. is there any other reason to ride ANY bike. If your not having fun riding, you might as well quit dude.

yes, but why would you choose this particular form of transportation or exercise if it weren't any fun?
There are cars and trains and jogging and yoga....and if any of these are more fun to someone than a bicycle, i'd recommend them.
buddy.
